S.E.A. Medical Systems Inc. said Wednesday it raised $3 million in Series B funds.
The Santa Clara-based private health tech company specializes in safety and management of IV medicine.
The funds came from Chicago-based venture capital firm JK&B Capital, which invests in information technologies, health care and communications.
The chairman of JK&B Capital, David Kronfeld, and Quantum Technology Partners’ Barry Dickman also joined S.E.A. Medical’s board of directors.
S.E.A. plans to use the funds “to accelerate development of its IV products and expand its technology into additional medical applications…
